J. Steven York is a professional tall person, and sometimes writer of a wide variety of stuff. He has professionally written novels, short stories, nonfiction books, magazine articles, computer games, radio and even dabbled in Hollywood (but if he told you about it, he’d have to kill you). His preferred genres are mystery, science fiction, and fantasy, though what genre he actually writes is sometimes difficult to define. His story, “The Distant Baying of Hounds,” was an honorable mention for The Best American Mystery Stories 2019. He lives on the Oregon coast with wife, and fellow mystery and romance writer, Christina F. York, who also publishes as Christy Fifield and Christy Evans.
