Borrowed Magic

by Rebecca M. Senese

Aging warlock Gavin McLeary struggles to survive a life with little magic.

Homeless, scrounging meals where he can, he finds himself in a dank, dingy alley, fretting over the torn sole of his only pair of boots. No choice to return to the Salvation Army for another pair. He calls his last dredges of magic to fix them.

Enough to get the attention of a young witch hunted by evil.

An evil she threatens to bring down on him.

Unless Gavin can find a way to get rid of her.

A story of magic, regret, and last chances, follow Gavin in “Borrowed Magic.”
